Works in its own madcap way. Kayla's incredibly stiff acting actually helps here, making it almost believable that she wouldn't simply get up and try to avoid the magic water. Actual expansion looks quite good considering her large size to begin with. Used a track called 'Danger' from the Twilight Zone stuff. Let me know.

Sounds like AC switched on during intro - while looking at magazine. Stop/start same place during false alarm when she thought the owners came home. Long intro- but expansion section also nice and long and has occasional moments of greatness. Much of the expansion looks good, but had to toss a few shots because the black outfit made the growth impossible to see. Her perf pretty good. Didn't use any of the French VO because she didn't speak French while on camera so I didn't want to question the reality (and the live sound) too much. All in all solid. Used Barry Adamson's "A Perfectly Natural Union" during the carpet sweeping in the beginning. Check it out and let me know if you want anything changed or added (like magazine cutaways, etc.).

----ATTENTION---- in making the trailer I found a mistake at about the 11minute mark where I left in a shot where the balloon is visible- removing now and will replace clip. Will let you know when fully replaced.

Finally, finished at least seven other clips during the making of this epic BE GROWTH clip. This clip should make some fans very happy, and hopefully make a little cash along the way. General quality high throughout with regards to Mika's perf/shooting/lighting/etc - making many of the following comments minor.

Sideways painting on floor in first shot, just one of those general notes to try not to needlessly distract from your subject.

A fan is on in much of the bathroom, then goes off - I used a little of the 'workplace frustration theme music' to blend the audio from fan on to fan off. Also I found the shot odd, probably only because it lasts so long, but once I realized what was bothering me I realized I wasn't listening to her dialogue. Anyway, the shot is awkward because, even though she's in the mirror and you actually see her head twice, you can't really see her face, almost as if you're trying to avoid it. If she looked like Blad, I'd understand.

The plastic bags during the root burning also jump me out as well as looking and sounding bad on video, but not a big deal. While she's lighting the roots on fire etc. the high angle 'security cam' shots, while attractive and well composed, work against you in this clip, serving to confuse visually instead of making it easy to gauge her size in relation to the things around her and the entire set itself.

The straight on shots are dark and flat compared with the rest of the clip, auto iris I assume.

I'd recommend for the future 'growth inserts', things like shoulders pushing up, arms growing, torso's lengthening, belts tightening, the camera be completely locked down (BIG EXCEPTION: planned camera moves from high to low or vice versa). I find most of the time what is happening on screen would be very usable if the camera wasn't moving. The camera movement makes most visual SFX questionable looking.

I don't understand all the dutching at the end, I think it works against you.

In the context of the clip as a whole all of the above is fairly minor. There's a great unity of theme and look and energy throughout that hopefully comes through to whomever purchases it

Enjoyable, long BE. Both you and Jordan eventually find a groove where the back and forth is well timed and funny (it looked like a struggle at first - she was a little stiff). Shooting good - aided by the POV style of the plot. Next time you're 'upstairs' or 'out of the room' it would be much more realistic if you put the camera on a tripod or a table and actually left the room and yelled. I put some reverb on your voice as is - I guess you could also record it now it you want it fixed. Her yellow shirt is a bit hot for the first half of the clip. I left a lot of "initial expansion" footage on the cutting room floor because of the single shot being so effective, so there is a longer BE in there if you want it extended in some way. Used "Marooned" by Dif Juz and two tracks from the Twilight Zone stuff - "Danger" and "When the Sky Opened Up."

Part loon clip part BE. Possibly the best loon clip I've seen - set looks good lighting fine perf good and the sexy balloon sounds are abundant. BE simple but strong and generally looks good. Fireplace roaring at times. I kept the sound design simple throughout. Used MIDI version of "Come Sail Away" by Styx.

A few minor gripes: seemed odd to me that we spend the first 3 or 4 minutes staring at her back and little else, which leads to questioning why she's sitting in an uncomfortable bar stool in the middle of a room right next to a comfy looking chair. I might not have noticed that if I could see face at some point in the beginning of the clip. Lighting and/or white balance off. Luckily with that camera off isn't too bad, but none of the color looks right.

I think I figured out what may have caused the godawful screeching noise (you found it on the phoenixballoonBE) that I swear has almost rendered me deaf. I checked this clip and hopefully for our sakes it won't happen again.

A triumph of inflatable realism! Ass and tits look outstanding most of the time, actual expansion is top notch. Nice location - good job handling the mirror and the lighting (a hair dark but okay). I left the clip run longer than I typically would, especially at the end, because the inflatables look so good I didn't care so much Helena makes a boring bimbo.

Following is a list of nit-picky shit but all said is an above average clip. With these more complicated set-ups I can really see the benefit of your new assistant. Things seem to be running more smoothly. That being said the pump was crazy loud as I mentioned yesterday, I think at the balloon end. Clip starts off with a lot of movement on your part- try to be more smooth or simply reposition then pick up the shot instead of trying to keep the shot going through all the bumps and ups and downs. The confined space probably caused a lot of it. I guess with someone good like Helena you shouldn't have to worry about full-on cutting, maybe just say 'freeze', you move, then pick up the shot that way.

On the way to TMC - should be fully uploaded by 7:15am today.

Overall clip fine- good perf. Early shots with her and vial good and steady - I could even make the liquid glow! Color changes a lot - often from take to take. Not sure what's going on. Nothing drastic - many might not notice after I slap a filter on, but looks like white balance. Once the stroking starts there's some jumps in coverage - hope I understood the footage well enough. IM'd earlier about the pecker pants burst. Nut not great, more of a dribbler rather than spurts.

Great concept. Nice inflation - many of the shots worked well, I just caution against shooting the same action over and over from essentially the same wandering angle. Makes it hard to use the best shots because things rarely cut. It's good to shoot the inflation a few times for safety to make sure you have it, but maybe shoot it once from a close-up more or less stationary angle, then maybe once from a stationary wide angle, then again like you normally do. In theory that should provide safety coverage and make it so we can use more of the best footage. There's normally plenty of good shots, just they often don't fit together without using wipes, which potentially breaks the reality of the clip for some viewers.

Watch shooting stingers - you're managing to include them in more clips by plugging them in too close to the subject. The orange 'shop cord' is very distracting and can powering little else but a light or a tablesaw.

Great costume and use of giant helium tank.
